There are a number of reasons that a renter’s applicant might be rejected. Knowing what companies are looking for in your history is the first step in knowing if you might be able to rent from a company. 1. Bad Credit

3. Criminal Record.

4. Income Levels
Most places have a minimum income level that must be met, often around twice the amount of the rent. This is reasonable because they don’t want you to risk not being able to pay the rent.

5. Pets.
While there are a number of places that will allow for pets with a number of extra dollars a month and a pet fee that might seem huge, there are also a number of places that will not rent to people who have pets.

Some places will work with a potential tenant if they have very good references, or if they have lived in the complex before, but you will have to check with them directly and work with them to find a place that works for you.
