Gwen Stefani arrives at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday with her sons Kingston, 2, and Zuma, 3 months.

Their family, including Gwen’s father Dennis, returned from Cabo San Lucas, where all of the No Doubt members reunited.

Gwen’s rocker husband, Gavin Rossdale recently said that Kingston is already showing early signs of being an entertainer.

“He’s got a better wardrobe than I have! I can definitely see a performer in him,” Gavin told Us Weekly. “[But] it’s such a worry — it’s such a weird world. I mean, he’s been photographed nonstop since he began.He had the first nine days off of his life - after that, it’s been full- [throttle]. It’s pretty intense. Who knows what’s going to happen?”

We dropped by the secret storage area of Macy’s parade floats to check it out, and we report that its candy colors, flashing lights and manga appeal will surely have your little niece squealing from the sidelines.

The float itself was created by the Macy’s team and approved by Gwen, her people, and Coty. Hand-painted by the Macy’s float crew, it’s topped off with platforms for the dancers themselves—Baby, Love, Music, and Lil Angel. Should you chance the cold of Thanksgiving morning to see the parade yourself, watch out for this float as there will be street teams dressed in the HL theme handing out samples and cards for gifts with purchase or a chance at a grand prize. Oh Thanksgiving, you are one of our favorite retail holidays of the year.”

Nordstrom at South Coast Plaza recently held a promotional event in their fragrance department featuring their best sellers, including L and the new Harajuku Lovers fragrance. Sandra was kind enough to donate photos of her swag, including some cute stickers and buttons and a new L.A.M.B. jewelry box.

“the fragrance event at nordies was just on sunday. they had an exclusive show before the store opened from 8 to 10. you got a goodie bag with a nordies brand black clutch and a huge bag of all the samples from every fragrance they were gonna present.

they only had the HL solids for sale and a lamb gift set that included a huge jar of lotion, the large L and a mini one that went for $80. when you bought HL u were given a free fragrance watch and a stickers pack with some buttons( i got 6). i totally forgot to ask what lamb was giving away if u buy the gift set.

then at macys if you bought any $45+ purchase you get the lamb rasta box and also a lil bundle of goodies which included the vile testers, the stickers, two buttons and the mini L lotion (15 ml/ 0.5 fl. oz)”

It looks like the entire band has headed to Hawaii for a well deserved family vacation.

“Gwen Stefani put on a tropical orange maxi dress and braided her hair for vacation in Hawaii yesterday with her No Doubt band members and Kingston. The group laughed and played on the slip-n-slide while a tan Kingston controlled the hose with a little help from Gwen. Gavin and Zuma skipped this adventure, but Kingston has been doing such a good job sharing mom, he deserves some time being the center of her attention too.”

Thanks to Lovely Little Lamb, there will be a Harajuku Lovers float at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. If you visit the official parade web site, it states that the Harajuku Girls will be performing on a Tokyo style float.

Gwen Stefani talks to NYLON about her new makeup toys and bags …

Remember Sweet Secrets toys from the ’80s? They were charms or animals that turned into makeup when you flipped them over.

Now Gwen Stefani’s going the same way, making little dolls inspired by her Harajuku Girls that pop open to reveal a solid perfume.

The set of five contains a Love, an Angel, a Music, and a Baby, all plastic, all fantastic, and all (yay) affordable. And the new scents correspond to Gwen’s anime-inspired accessories - including big tote bags you can take to the grocery store or mall instead of using plastics.

Gwen told us, “My Harajuku Lovers collections were inspired by my visit to the Harajuku district….Everyone there was so creative and expressive and I wanted to re-create that world in my Harajuku Lovers collections… There are so many fun pieces to wear to have that super cool Harajuku style.”

Sounds about right. And how can you argue with Gwen?

Happy birthday to Gwen Renée Stefani today who was born Friday, 3rd October 1969 in Fullerton, California. This makes her 39 years old (14,245 days old ).
Her astrological sign is Libra, her life path is 11 and she was born under the Chinese year of the Rooster.
Her fortune cookie reads ‘Smiling often can make you look and feel younger.’

She shares her birthday with Kaci, Ashlee Simpson, Clive Owen, Tommy Lee and Neve Campbell.

Gwen is named after Jacqueline Bisset’s character ‘Gwen Meighan’ in the 1968 novel Airport. Her middle name Renée comes from The Four Tops’ cover of Walk Away Renee.

In 1982 Gwen’s brother Eric would play piano along to he’s Madness records. Eric had ideas for vocals and would try and get 13-year-old Gwen to sing along.
In spring 1987 Gwen, Eric and a friend John Spence started a band and called themselves No Doubt as a trio.

In 1991, after a line-up change, No Doubt signed to Interscope releasing their first self-titled album (1992) however it wasn’t until the release of Tragic Kingdom (1995) that No Doubt became internationally succesful. Gwen has since launched a succesful solo career, two clothing lines and had a role in the biopic The Aviator (2004).

She married Gavin Rossdale in Sept 2002. They have two children together - Kingston James McGregor (b.May 26, 2006) and Zuma Nesta Rock (b. August 21, 2008).
